On the 17th of august I went to see pearl jam at manchester, the last time I went to see them was nine years before at the same venue. Being a big inspiration on my music I was looking forward to the gig for many months. After a few beers , we arrived at the arena, gomez were supporting and warmed up the crowd well.
Then at about 8pm pearl jam took to the stage and opened with the song long road, after listening to there songs through my life I felt very emotional. The whole set was great playing songs from all there albums, such as alive, present tense, rearviewmirror, the fixer, grievance and given to fly. They played for over two hours and is the best gig I have ever seen. Hopefully they do not leave it so long before they come back again.
