It’s been a tough few weeks, with my mum being ill with cancer and undergoing and operation, it puts things in perspective when you visit a cancer ward and inspires me how people find the strength and courage to fight such an awful disease. I’ve been writing several songs and processing my experiences over the last few months. Its hard to believe in god or any belief when you see such suffering, but I can understand how it helps some people. Hopely my mum will improve, just take it day by day and my thoughts are with anyone living with the illness.

During the last month, Ive recorded 5 songs, of which I think are fairly strong. Hopefully record more songs later in the year.In the last week wrote two songs called countryside and constellations, using different tunings. Using the washburn guitar at the moment, as it sounds better on the recordings.

Sorry I have not kept you updated for a while(if your interested!) . but I have been busy compiling my tracklisting for my new album and adding a couple of new songs written in the last month or so. The tracklisting for the album, “As Above, So Below” , is as follows:-

Just about to record my new album, Hegelian Dialectic, hopefully release the first track early in 2014. Also writing my autobiography about my life and struggle with mental illness, hopefully release the unfair stigma attached to it. May release it in stages on my website. I’ve been practicing songs to record later this year for my new album, ’13’. The tracklisting is as follows – 1)control 2)sad 3)travelling 4)move-along 5)conversation 6)transition 7)grail 8)echo 9)love 10) broken promises.

Just finshed recording an EP called Love on 1st september and will have the following tracklistng…1)heaven 2)know your rights 3)comet 4)Love. It will be released early next year as a full download. Also written 15 other songs for my future project called Panspermia. Meanwhile next week I’ll release a 5th song from Hegelian Dialectic called running scared. I will be recording new songs this year and hope to improve the quality. I have 15-20 songs to record with titles such as perception, time and space , rising moon and faith. The new song RITUAL is available to download now and is about the music industry and what it means to be the listener and consumer.

It’s been abit of a struggle in the last few months coming to terms with my mums death, playing guitar and writing songs has been a great help and may record and release two songs dedicated to her called ‘Waterfalls of Love’ and ‘Hurricane’ encapsulating the feelings I have at the moment, feeling lost and vulnerable to emotional currents through out my body. Its hard to accept , but realise I have the memories forever.

I’ve been working hard on creating and writing new songs over the past year and found I had enough to record a double album, my second double collection , first being ‘Hegelian Dialectic’ released in 2013. I’m pretty excited about the new additions to the artistic collection and although no real concept unlike ‘Hegelian’ (which was about stardom , insanity, and compromise) …it provides a social commentary on these confusing and somewhat dark times.
